How this site was made.

A website for a business that sells websites and automation has to show it can do both. Here’s the thinking, the system and the numbers.

The thinking.

  • The idea

AI automation is invisible, so the home page draws it as a machine. Paperwork comes out of an inbox, the AI reads it and checks it against your rules, an amber gate stops anything involving money until a person approves it, and the result lands in your own email, Xero, job system and CRM. Every part of the machine is a real step of the work we build.

  • Clear about the drawing

The page says plainly that this is software running in tools you already use. The approval arrives as a message on your phone, the way it would in real life, and each app screen shows what changed in it.

  • Plan yours

Pick the jobs you would automate and the machine grows a lane for each, with the package, price and payback underneath. The prices come from the same published list as the pricing page.

  • Type

Unbounded for headings and the machine’s labels, wide and rounded like the machine itself. Figtree for everything you read.

  • Motion

One establishing move when the page loads, as the camera travels back along the machine to where the paper goes in. Everything else moves because you did something: fed in a document, approved it, pulled the lever.

Five colours.

  • Bristol Blue #2445d6

The machine. After the cobalt glass Bristol has blown since the 1700s.

  • Studio #e3e8f6

The floor the machine stands on, and behind most of the reading.

  • Ink #0f1638

Text, and the dark bands where we ask you to act.

  • Amber #ffb23e

Used for one thing only: a person deciding. The approval gate, the button on the machine, the call to book.

  • Red #e23b3b

    The off switch.

Built to pass our own checks.

  • Static pages

Every page is pre-rendered and served from Vercel’s edge, so the headline arrives before any JavaScript runs.

  • The 3D loads last

The headline and every control are plain HTML. The 3D machine loads once the browser is idle, and the steps still run in text if it can’t draw.

  • Kind to phones

Fewer pixels and smaller shadows on phones and slower chips, and the machine stops drawing when it’s scrolled out of view.

  • Reduced motion respected

The camera stops gliding, and page transitions and inertia scrolling switch off. Every control on the machine works by keyboard.

  • No cookies

Visit counts and speed measurements come from Vercel, without cookies or anything stored on your device.
